Stupid Shit No One Needs and Terrible Ideas Hackathon - Shanghai

I co-founded and co-organised Stupid Hackathon Shanghai. The first Stupid Hackathon Shanghai was held on April 21st, 2017, on the Pudong campus of New York University Shanghai. First conceived by faculty and students of the Interactive Telecommunications Program at NYU, Stupid Shit No One Needs and Terrible Ideas Hackathons are (anti-)hackathons where participants create projects that are unnecessary, impractical, stupid, and/or of absolutely no value whatsoever.

Stupid Hackathon Shanghai is the first ever Stupid Hackathon to be held in Asia.

Visit Stupid Hackathon Shanghai website for more information.

The second Stupid Hackathon Shanghai was held as part of the Arduino Day events at NYU Shanghai on March 15-16, 2019.

The upcoming third Stupid Hackathon Shanghai is scheduled sometime in the spring semester of 2020.
